I also want to fall in love, is a romantic love story of two youngsters in the beautiful city of Bengaluru. Sandesh is a handsome, shy guy, studying in the final year of engineering staying in the College hostel along with his friends.  He hoped to fetch a respectable job in a reputed corporate and be happy thereafter. But he needed a girlfriend worthy of being a life partner. All of his friends were study with their respective girlfriends. His shy and introvert nature could not attract any girls towards him.

Once under the persuasion of his friends in the class, he sends a love letter to Rubina, the charming beauty of the college. The message which flew over three benches to landed in her lap ignites a romantic fire in her. When she turned over, it was the smartest of the geek, Murthy who was smiling at her, which she mistook and falls in love with him bringing hatred between the two thick friends.

Sandesh, finds it difficult to absorb the loss of his girlfriend to his close buddy, withdraws himself from all the activities to stay in isolation. To bring him back to normal, his roommate Wilson takes him around and exposes him to various places from dance bar to call girls. The stubborn Sandesh stays stubborn not to fall to such temptation.

But as the almighty has its own love story written for him, he meets Kaavya in a bakery on the roadside on a romantic monsoon morning. She hesitatingly befriends him to slowly fall into love with him against the wish of her parents. Her parents, chase him away from her house and plans for her marriage. She calls Sandesh to rescue her from the situation. He with his friends kidnap her from the house and keep her in his hostel room together for few days till the Police arrive. They were taken to the Police station, where under the pressure of her mother she refuses to confirm her love to Sandesh. Police Inspector leaves Sandesh after issuing a stern warning not to repeat his mistakes. Then she gets married to a NRI.

Under the stressful situation Sandesh completes his engineering with great difficulty and goes to Italy for his training. He enjoys Italian environment where he meets a Punjabi Indian girl who takes him around the country and also discloses a secret of Kaavya that she is studying in the University of Bologna. His deep rooted love comes back to his active memory and starts pursuing her till he marries her.

To his surprise after the marriage he finds Kaavya was pregnant. To add to his pain, he loses his job and comes back to India. But to avoid the shock, he doesn’t disclose his job loss to anyone, including his close buddies. His mother doesn’t accept Kaavya easily and he loses his father who had borrowed money from Ravina’s father to run his restaurant with a condition that Sandesh will marry Ravina.
